Sonya Kitchell is an artist that I've sort of followed over the past couple of years, ever since I first listened to her 2006 release, Words Came Back To Me, which I really enjoyed. Singing with a smoky jazz/pop feel, she's has a good, laid back feel to her words. On September 3rd, she is going to be releasing her third album, entitled This Storm. One track has made its way online thus far, Every Drop, which has a good energy and rhythm to it. This is definitely sounding like an album that will be worth picking up when it is released.
